12 mile walk starting at the Anderson City Utility office parking lot which is across from Madison County jail, we will walk 1 mile to represent each step in the 12 step program of recovery. It will be a journey representing the challenges associated with recovery. It also is a call to get out of our comfort zones, there's nothing easy or comfortable about recovery, so we wanted a walk that will help us to remember that this is not the easier softer way and it takes willingness to do whatever it takes to stay sober. ARE YOU WILLING?

There will be a table at each mile marker corresponding with the step we will be walking for that mile, and the name of persons or company that sponsored that mile on the back of each step. To sponsor a mile it will be $100.00 minimum per mile. If you do not want to sponsor a mile, donations of any amount are welcomed and appreciated.

The walk will end up at the House of Hope on 902 High Street with a cook out immediately following.

This is a fundraiser for The House of Hope a recovery house for men suffering from alcoholism and addiction, with 10 % of all donations will going to Willow Place.
